Denton County MHMR Center is a governmental community center founded in 1971 as a forward-focused and pronounced response to the rising awareness of mental illness and developmental disabilities. Through the collaborative effort of our dedicated staff, Board of Trustees and leadership we are honored to serve Denton County as the Mental Health Authority and Intellectual & Developmental Disability Authority for Denton County. They established a mission to promote recovery and offer solutions to people with mental illness through care, advocacy, employment, and clinical excellence.
