• Graduate-level counseling students add tremendous value to our Center while receiving direct experience with the individuals we serve.

• We offer practicums in nursing, psychology and social work. We allow students to observe professionals in their field at work and hone in on interpersonal skills while putting studied theories to work in a professional setting.

All practicum and intern students must submit an application with Denton County MHMR Center.

It is required to have an affiliation agreement or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on file prior to starting internship. The Center is not accepting new affiliation agreements with universities at this time. The center can accept students from universities who currently hold affiliation agreements with us, listed below:
